Hyundai Lease Deals March 2026: Every Model Ranked

IONIQ 5 Limited AWD at 0.17% APR (MF 0.00007) leases for $68/month less than the cheaper SE RWD — the rate more than offsets the higher MSRP. Tucson XRT FWD at 0.67% APR runs $286/month for a $33K+ SUV. Sonata SE at 2.30% APR. Santa Fe SE AWD rate inversion: AWD gets a lower rate than FWD. Palisade 68–69% residuals. Full trim tables, payment math, and federal EV credit note.

Hyundai Motor Finance's March 2026 programs contain two numbers that don't make sense at first glance. The IONIQ 5 Limited AWD carries MF 0.00007 — 0.17% APR, nearly zero financing cost. The Tucson XRT FWD runs MF 0.00028 (0.67% APR) on a $35K SUV with off-road styling. The rest of the ICE lineup runs a consistent 5.1–5.5% APR. This month, Hyundai Motor Finance has chosen two specific trims to subsidize heavily; everything else is priced at market rates.

The consequence of the IONIQ 5 Limited AWD rate is counterintuitive: the IONIQ 5 Limited AWD carries MF 0.00007 — nearly zero financing cost — but Lease Cash determines the payment order, not the rate. The SE Standard Range RWD at ~$397/month is the cheapest trim in the lineup — $7,250 Lease Cash on a $36,600 pre-destination MSRP produces the lowest cap cost and lowest payment. The Limited AWD at ~$558/month is the most expensive despite 0.17% APR: $1,000 Lease Cash versus $7,500 on the Limited RWD — a $6,500 gap — is why the near-zero rate cannot overcome the cost.

March 2026 Lineup: Rates and Residuals at a Glance

Hyundai Motor Finance keeps rates unusually consistent across trims — unlike manufacturers that penalize entry-level buyers, most ICE models cluster within a 0.3% APR band regardless of trim. The two exceptions this month are the IONIQ 5 Limited AWD and Tucson XRT, where HMF has deployed near-zero money factors as targeted subsidies. The Santa Fe SE AWD also gets a rate inversion: AWD carries a lower MF than FWD on that model.

Tucson — The XRT Rate Makes No Sense (in a Good Way)

The Tucson XRT FWD runs MF 0.00028 (0.67% APR) — an aggressively subsidized rate. But this month, HMF also stacks $2,250–$4,000 in Lease Cash on the SE, SEL, and Limited trims, while the XRT trims carry no non-conditional cash at all. The SE FWD gets $3,250 Lease Cash + $750 Lease Event Cash ($4,000 total) and produces a ~$320/month payment on a $31,050 delivered MSRP — the XRT FWD with $0 non-conditional incentive costs ~$377/month on a $35,075 delivered MSRP. The SE FWD saves ~$57/month versus the XRT FWD, despite the XRT's near-zero MF. The SE FWD and SEL FWD are the best lease values in the Tucson FWD lineup this month.

The XRT AWD is still subsidized at 0.00052 (1.25% APR), but carries no non-conditional Lease Cash — both XRT trims carry $0 in non-conditional incentives. The SEL AWD gets $2,250 Lease Cash but still carries the worst rate at 0.00229 (5.50% APR). Despite the inferior rate, the SEL AWD's 67% residual and $2,250 Lease Cash make it ~$24/month cheaper than the XRT AWD: SEL AWD at ~$373/month versus XRT AWD at ~$397/month — Lease Cash and residual win over the rate subsidy on the AWD side too.

SE FWD vs XRT FWD — Lease Cash flips the payment order

SE FWD effective cap cost after incentives~$27,050
XRT FWD effective cap cost after incentives~$35,075
Monthly payment differenceSE FWD saves ~$57/mo vs XRT FWD

Despite the XRT's near-zero 0.67% APR, the $4,000 non-conditional Lease Cash on the SE FWD reduces its cap cost enough to overcome the $4,025 higher MSRP on the XRT. The SE FWD at ~$320/month and SEL FWD at ~$353/month are the strongest FWD Tucson lease values this month. The XRT FWD at ~$377/month carries the highest FWD payment.

Tucson Verdict

The SE FWD is the FWD deal at ~$320/month — $4,000 in non-conditional Lease Cash overwhelms the XRT's rate subsidy entirely. The SEL FWD at ~$353/month is the second-best value, also benefiting from $3,250 Lease Cash. The XRT FWD at ~$377/month is the most expensive FWD option despite its near-zero MF. On the AWD side, the SE AWD at ~$362/month and SEL AWD at ~$373/month benefit from Lease Cash. The XRT AWD at ~$397/month carries no non-conditional incentives despite its 1.25% APR. The Limited AWD at ~$491/month carries the highest AWD payment.

Sonata — Strong Rate, One Residual Caveat

The Sonata SE FWD runs MF 0.00096 (2.30% APR) — the second-lowest rate in the entire Hyundai ICE lineup this month, well below the 5.1–5.5% cluster elsewhere. With $750 Lease Cash + $750 Lease Event Cash ($1,500 total non-conditional cash), the $29,050 delivered sedan produces a ~$355/month payment pre-tax.

The caveat is residual. The SE FWD carries a 56% residual versus 63% on the SEL Sport and N-Line trims. On a $29,050 vehicle, that 7-point gap is a $2,034 difference in projected value flowing entirely through depreciation. The SE rate is strong enough to overcome that gap and still produce the lowest payment in the lineup, but it means the SE is being depreciated $11/month more than SEL Sport in depreciation alone — the rate advantage more than covers it.

SE FWD residual note — what the low RV means in practice

SE FWD: Residual ($29,050 × 56%)$16,268
SEL Sport FWD: Residual ($30,750 × 63%)$19,373
SE FWD: Depreciation per month (cap $27,550 − RV $16,268) ÷ 36$313/mo
SEL Sport FWD: Depreciation per month (cap $30,250 − RV $19,373) ÷ 36$302/mo
The SE rate advantage (rent: $42 vs $108/mo) covers the gapSE wins by ~$55/mo

The SE's 2.30% APR saves $66/month in rent charges versus the SEL Sport's 5.21% APR. The depreciation disadvantage is only $11/month (SE FWD depreciation $313/mo vs SEL Sport $302/mo). Net result: SE FWD is still cheaper by ~$55/month. However, a 56% residual on a 3-year lease means the car loses 44% of its value — higher mileage overages at lease end will cost more in dollars per mile than on a higher-residual trim.

Sonata Verdict

The SE FWD at 2.30% APR is the payment leader at ~$355/month. It's the right choice if you drive predictable mileage at or below 12K/year. If you regularly exceed 15K miles annually, the SEL Sport FWD's 63% residual protects you better on overages — and it's only ~$55/month more at ~$410/month. The N-Line gets the worst rate in the lineup (5.52%) despite being the top trim, and at $37,650 delivered it produces a ~$528/month payment — avoid it.

Santa Fe — AWD Gets a Lower Rate Than FWD

The Santa Fe has an unusual rate structure this month: SE AWD runs MF 0.00198 (4.75% APR) while SE FWD runs 0.00221 (5.30% APR). But HMF also provides $1,000 in Lease Cash on the SE FWD this month — while the SE AWD gets $0. The result: the rate inversion that once nearly eliminated the AWD cost gap now costs ~$29/month more. The SE FWD at ~$451/month versus SE AWD at ~$480/month — a ~$29 spread for AWD capability.

The Calligraphy FWD at MF 0.00206 (4.94% APR) also gets a lower rate than most mid-range trims, though at $49,200 delivered the payment climbs to ~$638/month before tax with $250 Lease Cash. The Limited FWD at 0.00226 (5.42% APR) has the worst rate-to-residual combination in the FWD lineup.

Santa Fe Verdict

The SE FWD at ~$451/month is the payment leader, benefiting from $1,000 Lease Cash not available on the SE AWD. The SE AWD rate inversion (4.75% vs 5.30% APR) costs ~$29/month more than FWD this month — AWD adds $1,800 MSRP and carries no Lease Cash. The 66–67% residuals across most Santa Fe trims hold well at this price point. Note that the Calligraphy AWD gets the worst rate in the lineup (5.50% APR) despite being the top trim — the FWD Calligraphy at 4.94% APR plus $250 Lease Cash is the better deal at ~$638/month versus Calligraphy AWD at ~$658/month.

Palisade — 3-Row SUV with Strong Residuals

The Palisade's lease story is its residuals. SEL 7P and SEL 8P FWD and AWD carry 69% residuals at 36/12K — strong for a 3-row SUV at this price point. The SE carries 68%. These numbers mean the depreciation charge is lower relative to the vehicle's price than most 3-row alternatives.

The rates are not subsidized — all Palisade trims run 5.14–5.52% APR, which is market rate for this class. The Calligraphy AWD and SEL convenience trims carry the highest rates — SEL Convenience AWD tops out at 0.00230 (not shown in table below). Limited FWD and Calligraphy FWD get the best rates (0.00214). Calligraphy AWD also gets a low rate at 0.00215 — the rate does not track with trim level in a straight line. The residual difference between trim levels drives most payment variation.

A 7-passenger AWD SUV at $44,535 for ~$548/month pre-tax. The 69% residual keeps the depreciation charge at $377/month — relatively contained for a vehicle at this price and size. Note: SEL 7P AWD carries $250 Lease Cash only; no additional non-conditional cash this month.

Palisade Verdict

The SEL 7P and SEL 8P trims (FWD and AWD) are the payment sweet spot: 69% residuals give you the lowest depreciation charge in the lineup, and rates are at the middle of the Palisade range. The SEL 7P AWD at ~$548/month carries $250 Lease Cash only — no additional non-conditional cash this month. The Calligraphy FWD at ~$698/month benefits from $2,250 in cash incentives ($250 Lease Cash + $2,000 Sales Event Cash). The Calligraphy AWD at ~$711/month gets $2,000 Sales Event Cash. The Limited FWD carries $0 manufacturer cash — the best rate in the lineup (0.00214) doesn't fully offset the high MSRP at ~$688/month. Avoid the SEL Premium 7P FWD — it takes a 3-point residual hit (69% to 66%) compared to the SEL 7P FWD while adding only trim content, pushing the payment from ~$534 to ~$599. The residual drop costs more than the trim is worth.

IONIQ 5 — Lease Cash Flips the Payment Order: SE Standard Range Leads at ~$397

The IONIQ 5 Limited AWD carries MF 0.00007 — effectively zero finance cost. The rent charge on a $52,175 delivered vehicle at this rate is $6/month. Every other IONIQ 5 trim runs 0.00213–0.00229 (5.11–5.50% APR). This is not a modest discount — HMF has eliminated the finance charge on this trim.

The payment order is driven entirely by Lease Cash, not the money factor. The SE Standard Range RWD gets $7,250 in Lease Cash on a $38,200 delivered MSRP, producing ~$397/month — the cheapest payment in the lineup. The SE RWD at ~$402/month is only $5/month more. The SE AWD at ~$435/month is the cheapest AWD option — and $9/month cheaper than SEL RWD ($444) despite being AWD, because its 59% residual beats the SEL RWD's 58%. The Limited AWD gets only $1,000 Lease Cash and lands at ~$558/month — the most expensive trim — despite having 0.17% APR. XRT AWD at ~$530/month also offers no standout value: $6,500 Lease Cash on a $47,875 pre-destination MSRP produces the second-worst payment in the lineup.

Limited AWD's near-zero MF saves only ~$140/month in rent versus a market-rate trim at the same cap cost. The $6,500 Lease Cash gap versus Limited RWD ($7,500 LC) creates a $20,225 cap cost difference. Near-zero APR cannot overcome that gap.

IONIQ 5 Verdict

The SE Standard Range RWD is the strongest lease value at ~$397/month — $7,250 Lease Cash on a $36,600 MSRP produces the lowest payment in the lineup despite the 54% residual. SE RWD at ~$402/month is only $5/month more and adds 318 miles of range. SE AWD at ~$435/month is the cheapest AWD option — and $9/month cheaper than SEL RWD despite being AWD, because the 59% residual beats the SEL RWD's 58%. Avoid the Limited AWD at ~$558/month: the near-zero MF cannot overcome the $6,500 Lease Cash gap versus other trims. XRT AWD at ~$530/month also has no standout value — $6,500 Lease Cash at a $47,875 pre-destination MSRP produces the second-worst payment in the lineup.

Payment Calculation Assumptions

  • Cap cost = MSRP less incentive. No dealer discount, no additional down payment. Negotiate below MSRP and your payment drops proportionally — on a $30–55K vehicle, each $1,000 in discount reduces the monthly payment by roughly $28.
  • Term: 36 months / 12,000 miles per year. All residuals use the 12K annual mileage tier. 15K/year residuals are typically 2–3 points lower; this increases the depreciation charge and raises the payment.
  • Pre-tax and pre-fees. Add your state's lease tax rate, Hyundai Motor Finance's acquisition fee, dealer doc fee, and first-month payment at signing.
  • MF is the published buy rate. Dealers can mark up the money factor. On a $30–55K vehicle, a 0.0010 MF markup adds $28–55/month. Confirm the buy rate before signing — the subsidized MF on the Tucson XRT and IONIQ 5 Limited is especially markup-sensitive at these low levels.
  • Region: Northeast. Money factors and residuals from Hyundai Motor Finance Northeast rate sheets. Other regions may carry different rates.
  • Conditional incentives not included. Military, First Responders, College Grad, and Hyundai Rewards member incentives are available for eligible customers — up to ~$400–500 each, mutually exclusive, and are not included in any payments in this article.
