Honda Lease Deals August 2026: Every Model Ranked

Honda pulled money off the board in August. The HR-V lost its subvented rate outright, jumping from 0.00192 to 0.0028 (4.61% to 6.72% APR), $41 to $46/month more across all six trims. The Pilot and Passport both lost their $500 lease cash, $15/month on 16 trims. The gas Civic Hatchback Sport lost its $500 too, and the Accord Sedan cash dropped from $1,000 to $750. The top of the board held: Prologue at 0.00074 (1.78% APR) with $7,250, Ridgeline at 3.14% APR, Odyssey at 3.94% with $750, CR-V keeping $1,700.

Honda took money off the board in August. The HR-V lost its subvented rate outright, jumping from 0.00192 to 0.0028 (4.61% to 6.72% APR) and adding $41 to $46/month. The Pilot and Passport both lost their $500 lease cash, $15/month on all 16 trims. The gas Civic Hatchback Sport lost its $500 too. The Accord Sedan cash dropped from $1,000 to $750.

Only one money factor moved this month, and it was the HR-V's, in the wrong direction. Everything else that changed was cash. Nothing got cheaper. The good news is that the top of the board held: the Prologue still runs 0.00074 (1.78% APR) with $7,250 lease cash, the Ridgeline holds 3.14% APR, and the Odyssey keeps its 3.94% APR and $750. The CR-V, CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, Civic sedans and hybrids, and Prelude are all unchanged from July.

August 2026 Lineup: What Honda Took Away

Ranked by 36-month money factor. Twenty-five trims got worse this month and none got better. The HR-V fell from fifth-best rate to last, tied with the Prelude at 0.0028 (6.72% APR). The Pilot and Passport kept their rates but lost their cash. Everything at the top of the board held exactly where it was in July.

MF x 2400 = approximate APR. Best MF is the lowest available for that model. Pre-tax, 36mo/12K, Northeast region. Data: American Honda Finance, August 2026. The Civic Si runs its own 0.0028 (6.72% APR) rate and is covered in the Civic section. The 2027 HR-V runs 0.0026 (6.24% APR) and is covered in the HR-V section, left out of this ranking because it is a separate model year.

HR-V: Rate Jumps to 6.72% APR, Up to $46/mo More

The 2026 HR-V money factor went from 0.00192 to 0.0028 (4.61% to 6.72% APR). That is the single biggest move in the August program and it hits all six trims, from $41 to $46/month. The LX 2WD goes from ~$360 to ~$401. There is no lease cash to soften it.

The 0.0028 the HR-V now carries at 36 months is the same rate every Honda in the pull falls to at 39 months. That is Honda's standard rate. The subvented HR-V program is gone, not reduced.

Which flips last month's advice. The 2027 redesign holds at 0.0026 (6.24% APR), so the newer car now has the lower rate. The 2027 LX 2WD at ~$366 now comes in under the 2026 LX 2WD at ~$401, on a smaller sticker. Same story on all-wheel drive: the 2027 LX AWD is ~$387 against ~$422 for the 2026.

HR-V LX 2WD: July → August

July ~$360/mo to August ~$401/mo. That is $41/month more from the money factor alone, 0.00192 to 0.0028. The residual did not move and there is no cash to offset it. Across the six 2026 trims the hit runs $41 to $46/month.

Verdict: HR-V

Skip the 2026. It went from a mid-pack lease to the worst rate in the lineup in one month, with nothing on the hood. If you want an HR-V, take the 2027: better rate, better residual, lower payment on every matching trim. The LX 2WD is ~$366 and the LX AWD is ~$387. If a dealer is pushing a leftover 2026, make them discount the cap cost hard enough to beat those numbers.

Pilot & Passport: The $500 Is Gone

Both truck-based SUVs lost their $500 lease cash, and both kept their money factors. That is $15/month more on every one of the 16 trims. The Pilot holds 0.0019 (4.56% APR) and the Passport holds 0.00226 (5.42% APR).

The Pilot Sport 2WD is now ~$567, up from ~$552. The Passport RTL is ~$628, up from ~$613. The Pilot still has the better rate, 4.56% against 5.42%, and it is the better lease of the two.

Pilot Sport 2WD and Passport RTL: July → August

Pilot Sport 2WD: July ~$552/mo to August ~$567/mo. Passport RTL: July ~$613/mo to August ~$628/mo. Same $15/month on both, and on all 16 trims. The rates did not move. Honda just took the $500 back.

Verdict: Pilot & Passport

The Pilot Sport 2WD at ~$567/month is still the three-row value, and 4.56% APR is still a good rate. But $15/month for 36 months is real money, so negotiate the cap cost to win it back. The Passport is the weaker lease: worse rate, no cash, and the RTL now starts at ~$628. Take the Pilot unless you specifically need the two-row layout.

Civic: Hatchback Sport Loses Its $500

One Civic changed. The gas Hatchback Sport lost its $500 lease cash, so it went from ~$345 to ~$360/month. It used to be the cheapest Civic on the board. Now the Sedan LX takes that spot at ~$347.

Everything else is a straight carryover at 0.00208 (4.99% APR) with no lease cash. The Civic Si holds its own 0.0028 (6.72% APR), unchanged from July.

We are treating it as a launch program with the rate not yet confirmed, so it is left out of the table. Data: American Honda Finance, August 2026.

Civic Hatchback Sport: July → August

July ~$345/mo to August ~$360/mo. The $500 lease cash is gone, so that is $15/month more. The money factor and the 66% residual both held. Every other Civic is flat.

Verdict: Civic

The Sedan LX at ~$347/month is now the payment floor for the whole Honda lineup. The Hybrid Hatchback Sport at ~$371 with a 69% residual is still the smartest step up, and it is one of the few cars on this board that did not change. The Si at 6.72% APR is a car to buy, not lease.

Accord: Sedan Cash Trimmed to $750

The Accord Sedan lease cash dropped from $1,000 to $750. That is $7/month, the smallest change in the August program. The LX goes to ~$395 and the SE to ~$411. The rate holds at 0.00204 (4.90% APR).

The Accord Hybrid is untouched: 0.00248 (5.95% APR) with $1,700 lease cash, the same stack as July. The Sport stays at ~$441. That $1,700 is tied with the CR-V for the most cash on any Honda except the Prologue.

Accord Sedan LX: July → August

July ~$388/mo to August ~$395/mo. The lease cash went from $1,000 to $750, worth $7/month. The rate and residual both held. The SE moved the same $7.

Verdict: Accord

The Hybrid Sport at ~$441/month is the pick this month. Its 5.95% APR looks bad on paper, but the $1,700 lease cash is the second-largest on the board and it did not get touched. The Sedan LX at ~$395 is fine if you want the cheapest Accord, and $7 is not worth changing plans over. Skip the Hybrid Touring, where the 60% residual and the 5.95% rate compound.

Prologue: 1.78% APR and $7,250, Untouched

The Prologue is the one place Honda left everything alone. It holds 0.00074 (1.78% APR) with $7,250 lease cash, and every residual and payment matches July to the dollar. The EX 2WD stays at ~$413/month on a $39,900 sticker.

The rate is close enough to free that the payment ladder tracks MSRP almost linearly. The catch is still the residual: 45% to 48% is thin, so this is a cash deal, not a residual deal. The lease cash is doing all the work.

Verdict: Prologue

The EX 2WD at ~$413/month is the best lease Honda sells, and in a month where four models got worse it did not move at all. The EX AWD at ~$446 is a cheap step to all-wheel drive. Skip the Touring and Elite: at 45% to 47% residual you are paying for depreciation the cash cannot cover.

Odyssey & Ridgeline: The Low Gas Rates Hold

Both carried over from July with no change. The Odyssey keeps 0.00164 (3.94% APR) and its $750 lease cash, with the EX-L at ~$555. The Ridgeline keeps 0.00131 (3.14% APR), the lowest rate on any gas Honda, with the Sport at ~$528 and no cash.

Together they are the two best non-EV rates on the board, and both undercut every Honda SUV. If a Pilot at 4.56% was on your list, the Odyssey at 3.94% with $750 on the hood deserves a look.

Verdict: Odyssey & Ridgeline

The Odyssey EX-L at ~$555/month is the best family lease Honda has, and it survived a month where four other models got worse. The Ridgeline Sport at ~$528 is a pure rate play with no cash behind it, so the cap cost is where you win or lose. Both beat every Honda SUV on rate.

CR-V: $1,700 Still on the Hood

The gas CR-V is unchanged: 0.00244 (5.86% APR) with $1,700 lease cash. In a month where Honda pulled cash off four models, the CR-V kept its $1,700, matched only by the Accord Hybrid outside the Prologue. The LX 2WD holds at ~$410.

The CR-V Hybrid is also unchanged at 0.00222 (5.33% APR) with no cash. Its 67% residual is the strongest of any Honda SUV, which is why the Sport FWD lands at ~$459 and the Sport AWD at ~$478.

Verdict: CR-V

The gas LX 2WD at ~$410/month is the value pick and the CR-V is the best-protected lease on the board this month. Ignore the 5.86% headline rate: the $1,700 cancels it, and that cash is what Honda took away from the Pilot and Passport. If you want the mileage, the Hybrid Sport FWD at ~$459 buys you the lineup's strongest SUV residual at 67%, and all-wheel drive is ~$478.

Prelude: Unchanged and Still the Worst Lease

The Prelude holds 0.0028 (6.72% APR) and a 65% residual, unchanged from July. No lease cash. The Coupe sits at ~$602/month on a $42,000 sticker. It no longer holds the bottom alone, only because the HR-V climbed up to the same rate.

Verdict: Prelude

Buy it or finance it. At 6.72% APR with nothing on the hood, leasing at ~$602 to ~$610/month makes no sense next to the rest of this board. Honda has never put a program on this car, and August did not change that.

The 39-Month Wall: Where Every Honda Rate Resets

The August pull returned 24, 36, 39, and 48 months. Every model in it carries 0.0028 (6.72% APR) at 39 months and 0.00295 (7.08% APR) at 48. Those are the standard rates. The subvented programs only run at 24 and 36 months.

The bigger the discount, the harder the wall hits. A Prologue at 1.78% jumps to 6.72% if you sign 39 months. A Ridgeline goes from 3.14% to 6.72%. An Odyssey from 3.94%. If a dealer offers you 39 or 48 months as a way to lower the payment, that is where the money went.

The 24-month trap on three models

Most models keep their 36-month rate at 24 months. The HR-V, Civic Si, and Prelude do not. All three go to 0.0038 (9.12% APR) on a 24-month term, the highest rate anywhere in the Honda pull. On those three, 36 months is the only term that makes sense.

Verdict: Terms

Take 36 months on everything. It is the only term where every subvented rate in the lineup is available. 39 and 48 months throw away the entire rate subsidy, and on the HR-V, Civic Si, and Prelude even 24 months costs you.

Payment Math & Assumptions

  • Cap cost = MSRP minus lease cash. No dealer discount, no extra down payment. Every $1,000 you negotiate off MSRP cuts roughly $28/month.
  • Term: 36 months / 12,000 miles per year. All residuals use the 12K tier.
  • Pre-tax and pre-fees. Add state lease tax, acquisition fee, dealer doc fee, and the first payment due at signing.
  • MF is the published base rate. Dealer markup on the money factor adds directly to the rent charge. Confirm the buy-rate MF before you sign.
  • Data basis: American Honda Finance rate sheets, Northeast region, August 2026. Money factors, residuals, and lease cash change monthly.

Tax, registration, title, and dealer doc fees are excluded and vary by state. Your drive-off cost depends on your state's lease tax treatment, which can add $0 to $1,500 or more at signing.
