The Accord Sedan LX opens June at 0.0016 MF (3.84% APR) — down from 0.00218 in April, the biggest single-model rate cut in the lineup. The Pilot follows at 0.00200 (4.80% APR), down from 0.00225 (5.40%). Two models moved the other direction: the CR-V Hybrid climbs to 0.00222 (5.33% APR) from 0.00197, and the Passport picks up a 39-month trap for the first time.

Ridgeline and Odyssey hold at their April rates. The HR-V 39-month penalty is gone — rate is now flat at 0.00192 across all terms. Prologue rate unchanged at 0.00074 (1.78% APR), but the EX 2WD residual drops from 52% to 50% — roughly $22/month more than April on an equivalent deal. The Accord Hybrid improves 18 basis points to 0.00204 (4.90% APR).

Rate changes vs April 2026 program. "New Trap" = 39-month penalty added vs April. "Trap Removed" = 39-month penalty gone vs April.

Residuals also moved

Even unchanged rates cost more when residuals drop. Ridgeline residuals fell 1 point across all trims (Sport: 63%→62%), adding roughly $11/month. Prologue EX 2WD fell 2 points (52%→50%), adding roughly $22/month. Most other models saw residuals hold or tick up 1 point.

Verdict — June Overview

June is a mixed program. The Accord Sedan LX rate cut is the clearest win — 58 bps down to 3.84% APR saves ~$35/month at MSRP cap. The CR-V Hybrid rate increase is the clearest loss. Structural changes favor the HR-V (trap removed) and hurt the Passport (new trap added).

Prologue — Rate Unchanged, Residual Drops 2 Points

The Prologue rate holds at 0.00074 (1.78% APR) — unchanged from April. The residual is where June changes: the EX 2WD drops from 52% to 50% at 36 months. On a $39,900 MSRP, that is $798 less residual — approximately $22/month more in depreciation before incentives. However, Honda offset this residual drop by boosting the incentive stack. With the $8,450 CCR stack ($6,450 Captive Lease Offer + $2,000 Loyalty or Conquest), the effective payment actually drops from April's ~$363/month to approximately ~$357/month.

Touring 2WD/AWD drops to 49% (from 51%), Elite AWD to 47% (from 49%). All trims jump to 0.00280 at 39 months — 36 months only on the Prologue. The June programs confirm a $6,450 Captive Lease Offer across all Prologue trims, plus a $2,000 Conquest or Loyalty bonus, making the EV very attractive.

Prologue: April → June

Rate unchanged at 1.78% APR. EX 2WD residual fell 2 pts (52%→50%). However, the CCR stack increased from $7,500 to $8,450. With full max stack: April ~$363/mo → June ~$357/mo. ~$6/month less due to the larger incentives offsetting the lower residual.

Verdict — Prologue

1.78% APR is still the best rate in Honda's lineup by a wide margin. The residual drop is fully offset by the generous $8,450 CCR stack ($6,450 Captive + $2,000 Loyalty/Conquest), bringing EX 2WD to ~$357/month. Without CCR: ~$598/month. 36 months only — loyalty or conquest required to reach the max stack.

Ridgeline — Still 3.41% APR, Residuals Down 1 Point

The Ridgeline rate is unchanged at 0.00142 (3.41% APR) — still the best non-EV rate in the lineup. The catch: all trim residuals dropped 1 point. Sport and RTL fall from 63% to 62%; TrailSport and TrailSport-Plus from 64% to 63%. On the Sport at $42,290, that adds approximately $11/month compared to April at the same rate. The 39-month trap is unchanged at 0.00280 (+3.31% APR) — still the largest term penalty in the lineup.

Ridgeline: April → June

Rate unchanged at 3.41% APR. Residuals fell 1 pt across all trims. Sport: April ~$533/mo → June ~$544/mo. ~$11/month more from the residual drop alone.

Verdict — Ridgeline

3.41% APR holds — still the best non-EV rate. The 1-point RV drop costs ~$11/month vs April at the same cap cost. Sport and RTL at 36 months are the targets. Never take 39 months: the jump to 6.72% APR costs approximately $70/month more in finance charges on the Sport.

Accord Sedan LX — 3.84% APR, Biggest Rate Cut in the June Program

The Accord Sedan LX moves from 0.00218 (5.23% APR) in April to 0.0016 (3.84% APR) in June — 58 basis points lower. That is approximately $35/month less on a $29,590 MSRP vs April. The LX is now the second-lowest non-EV rate in the lineup after the Ridgeline.

The SE trim gets a smaller improvement: 0.00218 → 0.00204 (4.90% APR). Honda is specifically subsidizing the base LX trim — an unusual program structure that makes the entry model the compelling lease. Both trims grow a 39-month trap in June — they were flat across all terms in April. 36 months only on either Accord Sedan trim.

With $1,000 non-conditional captive: ~$369/mo. With max $2,000 CCR (+ loyalty/conquest): ~$342/mo.

Accord Sedan LX: April → June

MF 0.00218 → 0.00160. April ~$432/mo → June ~$397/mo at MSRP cap. ~$35/month less. Note: 39-month term now traps at 0.0028 (+2.88% APR) — was flat in April.

Verdict — Accord Sedan LX

~$397/month pre-tax at MSRP, or ~$369 with the $1,000 non-conditional captive offer. The LX rate at 3.84% APR is 2 percentage points better than the SE (4.90% APR) — if you're cross-shopping trims, the LX wins on financing cost. 36 months only.

Odyssey — Unchanged at 4.20% APR, 39-Month Trap Remains

The Odyssey holds at 0.00175 (4.20% APR) — identical to April. EX-L and Sport-L residuals hold at 62%; Touring at 60%; Elite at 59%. On the EX-L at $44,290 that is approximately ~$593/month — same as April. The 39-month trap is unchanged: every trim jumps to 0.00280 (+2.52% APR), costing approximately $79/month more than the 36-month deal on the EX-L.

Verdict — Odyssey

Same story as April. 4.20% APR on a minivan beats most of the SUV lineup. EX-L at ~$593/month is the target. 36 months only — no exceptions.

Civic Hybrid — Rate Up 10 bps, Residual Gain Offsets the Increase

The Civic Hybrid moves from 0.00193 to 0.00203 MF (4.87% APR) — up 10 basis points. Residuals improved by 1 point across all trims: Sedan Sport goes from 67% to 68%; Hatchback Sport from 68% to 69%. On the Sedan Sport at $30,590, the payment barely moves — approximately ~$376/month in June vs ~$379/month in April. The residual gain absorbs the rate increase. All trims still jump to 0.00280 at 39 months.

*Pre-tax, 36mo/12K, cap = MSRP. Residuals up 1 pt vs April. 39-month penalty: +1.85% APR. Data: American Honda Finance, June 2026.

Verdict — Civic Hybrid

Rate went up 10 bps but the improved residual absorbs it. Sedan Sport at ~$376/month is fractionally better than April's ~$379. The high residual (68%) still does more work than the rate on this car. Never take 39 months.

CR-V Hybrid — Rate Jumps to 5.33% APR, Biggest Loser in June

The CR-V Hybrid is June's worst story. Rate climbs from 0.00197 (4.73% APR) to 0.00222 (5.33% APR) — a 25-basis-point increase. The residual improved 1 point (66%→67%) on most trims, which softens the blow, but the net effect is still approximately $6/month more on Sport FWD vs April.

At 5.33% APR, the CR-V Hybrid rate exceeds the regular CR-V (4.46% APR) by 87 basis points. The Hybrid's 67% residual still produces a favorable payment on a per-dollar-of-car basis, but the rate gap is now wider. On Sport FWD at $37,080 that is approximately ~$477/month. All trims jump to 0.00280 at 39 months (+1.39% APR).

MF 0.00197 → 0.00222. Sport FWD: April ~$471/mo → June ~$477/mo. ~$6/month more. Residual improved 1 pt (66%→67%) which partially offsets the rate increase.

Verdict — CR-V Hybrid

Biggest rate increase in the June lineup. 5.33% APR is a step back from April's 4.73%. The 67% residual still outperforms the gas CR-V's 63–64%, but the rate advantage is shrinking. Sport FWD or AWD at 36 months only.

CR-V — Flat Rate, Residuals Up 1 Point

The CR-V holds at 0.00186 (4.46% APR) flat across all terms — 24, 36, and 39 months. Residuals ticked up 1 point: LX trims move to 63% (from 62%); EX trims to 64% (from 63%); EX-L trims stay at 63%. On LX FWD at $32,370 the improvement is approximately $8/month vs April — from ~$439 to ~$431.

Rate unchanged at 4.46% APR. Residuals up 1 pt across all trims. LX FWD: April ~$439/mo → June ~$431/mo. ~$8/month less from the residual improvement.

Verdict — CR-V

Flat rate at 4.46% APR, safe at any term, and residuals ticked up. LX FWD at ~$431/month saves ~$8/mo vs April. The CR-V and HR-V are the only non-EV models in June with no 39-month risk.

Civic Sedan & Hatchback — Rate Up 10 bps, Residuals Compensate

The Civic Sedan and Hatchback move from 0.00183 to 0.00193 MF (4.63% APR) — up 10 basis points. Residuals ticked up 1 point: LX Sedan goes to 64%, Sport Sedan to 65%, Hatchback Sport to 66%. Net payment effect is nearly neutral — the LX Sedan at $25,890 moves from ~$343 to approximately ~$341/month. All trims jump to 0.00280 at 39 months.

Verdict — Civic Sedan & Hatchback

Rate up 10 bps but residual improvement keeps payments nearly flat vs April. LX Sedan at ~$341/month remains the entry point. Never take 39 months on any Civic trim.

HR-V — 39-Month Trap Gone, Rate Now Flat at 4.61% APR

In April the HR-V jumped to 0.00280 at 39 months. In June, the trap is removed — rate is flat at 0.00192 (4.61% APR) across 24, 36, and 39 months. Residuals also ticked up 1 point to 65% on LX and Sport trims (was 64%). On LX FWD at $27,950 that is approximately ~$360/month — down from ~$368 in April.

Verdict — HR-V

39-month trap removed and residual improved 1 point. LX FWD at ~$360/month is down from ~$368 in April. Now joins the CR-V as the only non-EV models safe at any term in June.

Accord Hybrid — Rate Improves to 4.90% APR

The Accord Hybrid drops from 0.00222 to 0.00204 (4.90% APR) — an 18-basis-point improvement. Residuals improved 1 point across trims: Sport moves to 64% (from 63%); Sport-L to 63%; EX-L to 62%. On Sport at $34,990, the net improvement is approximately $19/month — from ~$486 in April to ~$467. The 39-month trap remains at 0.00280 (+1.82% APR).

Rate improved to 4.90% APR — Sport at ~$467/month is $19 better than April. The Accord Sedan LX at 3.84% APR is a significantly lower rate if the LX's size works for you. Never take 39 months.

Pilot & Passport — Pilot Improves, Passport Grows a Trap

The Pilot drops from 0.00225 to 0.00200 (4.80% APR) — a 25-basis-point improvement, saving approximately $18/month on the Sport FWD vs April. Residuals held flat. The 39-month trap remains at 0.00280 (+1.92% APR).

The Passport rate is unchanged at 0.00226 (5.42% APR), but picks up a 39-month trap in June — previously it was flat across all terms. 39-month Passport leases now carry 0.00280 (+1.29% APR penalty), costing approximately $50–55/month more in finance charges vs the 36-month deal.

Verdict — Pilot & Passport

Pilot at 4.80% APR is a real improvement — ~$591/month on Sport FWD is $18 better than April. Passport lost its term-flexibility advantage; skip 39 months on any Passport in June. At 5.42% APR the Passport doesn't compete with the Accord Sedan LX (3.84%) or Ridgeline (3.41%) on pure rate.

Prelude — Rate Unchanged, Residual Drops 1 Point

The Prelude 36-month rate holds at 0.00280 (6.72% APR). The residual drops 1 point — Coupe falls from 67% to 66% at 36 months. On a $43,195 MSRP that adds approximately $11/month vs April, pushing the payment to approximately ~$609/month. The 24-month trap is unchanged at 0.00380 (9.12% APR) — still the worst rate in the lineup by a wide margin.

All monthly payments are pre-tax estimates based on: cap cost = MSRP, no down payment, no dealer discount, no incentive applied. Term: 36 months / 12,000 miles per year. Residual applied to MSRP per program sheets. Acquisition fee not capitalized in these estimates.

Tax, registration, title, and dealer doc fees are excluded and will vary by state. Your drive-off costs depend on your state's lease tax treatment, which can add $0–$1,500+ at signing.

  • Cap cost = base trim MSRP. Every dollar negotiated off MSRP and every dollar of qualified CCR reduces the payment directly.
  • MF is the published buy-rate. Honda dealers can mark it up — typically 0.0010–0.0015 above the base, adding $25–$40/month on a $35–45K vehicle. Always verify the exact MF on your deal sheet before signing.
  • Month-over-month comparisons refer to April 2026. No May 2026 Honda post was published. All "vs April" deltas use April 2026 program data.
