Subaru Lease Deals October 2026: Every Model Ranked

Subaru's October lease programs, every trim priced and diffed against September. Subaru cut rates on 22 trims and raised none, led by the 2027 electric SUVs.

QuoteDefender Team·October 4, 2026

Subaru cut the rate on 22 trims for October and raised it on none. Eighteen of the cuts are worth $20 to $23 a month: every 2027 Solterra and Uncharted, two 2027 Trailseekers, three 2027 Ascents, three 2026 Outbacks and three 2026 BRZs. The other 44 trims that can be compared with September did not move.

The 2026 Impreza now leases on a rate of practically zero, and Subaru now advertises $1,500 of lease cash on the 2027 Trailseeker and Uncharted. With the cut, the 2027 Solterra leases for less than the 2026 on three of its four trims. The cheapest Subaru lease is still the 2026 Crosstrek Base at ~$331.

The Lineup, Cheapest First

The 2026 Crosstrek Base at ~$331 is the cheapest Subaru lease, a dollar under the 2026 Impreza Sport, and the 2026 Ascent Onyx Edition Touring at ~$721 is the most expensive. Subaru leases 80 trims across 2026 and 2027, so this is a selection: it leaves out the Series.Yellow editions, the Ascent's 8-passenger twins and a few Forester and Crosstrek grades.

No gas or hybrid Subaru carries lease cash. Only the electric SUVs do. Subaru advertises $2,500 of Customer Lease Cash on every 2026 Solterra, Trailseeker and Uncharted and $1,500 on the 2027 Trailseeker and Uncharted, through November 2 in New Jersey. The 2027 Solterra carries cash too, but Subaru does not advertise it, so its cash column shows a dash.

*Pre-tax, 36mo/12K miles, Northeast region. Cap cost = MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for, no down payment and no dealer discount. Cash is Subaru's Customer Lease Cash as subaru.com advertises it for New Jersey, October 1 to November 2; in the Cash column a dash marks the 2027 Solterra's, which the payment includes but Subaru does not advertise. MSRP is Subaru's MSRP plus the Destination & Delivery charge for that model and year. In the vs September column a dash marks a trim with no September figure of its own: the 2027 Crosstrek, which was not in September's data, and five trims September's data priced together with a sibling. The Ascent Premium and Limited rows are the 7-passenger cars; the 8-passenger cars lease within a dollar. The 2026 Solterra Touring XT and the Trailseeker Touring with cloth seats cost $300 less and lease within $6 of the leather cars. Data: Subaru Motors Finance, October 2026.

Verdict: October Subaru

Nothing got more expensive, so on every trim that can be compared the October program is the same as September's or cheaper. The 2027 electric SUVs, the 2026 BRZ and Impreza, three 2027 Ascents and three 2026 Outbacks are the ones to requote.

These tables are one configuration.

36 months, 12,000 miles, Northeast. Your term, mileage, and state move the payment. Get your exact number, free.

What These Payments Are

Every payment here is full MSRP, nothing down, pre-tax. No discount, no trade, no fees. That makes them a ceiling, not a target. They exist so you can measure a dealer quote against the program the lender actually published.

$1,000 off the selling price is about $28 to $30 a month at 36 months, depending on the trim's rate. Subaru's own October offers for New Jersey quote lower payments because they put money down at signing, run 10,000 miles a year and, on most models, price the car below MSRP.

Three things move a real quote

A discount pulls the payment down at roughly $28 to $30 per $1,000. Money down pulls it down too, but you already paid that money, so it is not a saving. Tax and fees push it up, and how much depends on your state.

22 Rate Cuts, No Increases

Every change this month is a rate cut. Residuals and lease cash held on every trim. The largest group is the 2027 electric SUVs: Subaru cut the rate by a fifth to a third on all four 2027 Solterra trims, all three Uncharteds and the Trailseeker Premium and Limited, and each now leases for $22 to $23 a month less. The 2027 Uncharted Premium is ~$543, the Solterra Premium ~$560 and the Trailseeker Premium ~$596.

Three 2027 Ascents, the Limited Bronze Edition, Touring and Onyx Edition Touring, are $20 to $21 cheaper on a rate about a fifth lower. Three 2026 Outbacks, the Limited XT, Touring and Touring XT, are $21 to $22 cheaper on rates cut by half to more than two-thirds. The Outback Wilderness moved $1 and the Premium and Limited held.

The 2026 BRZ is $21 cheaper on the Limited, Limited Manual and tS and $11 on the Series.Yellow, on rate cuts of a third to nearly half. The 2026 Impreza is $19 cheaper on the Sport, now ~$332, and $13 on the RS, now ~$376.

September to October, the cuts

2027 Solterra, Uncharted and Trailseeker -$22 to -$23. 2026 Outback Limited XT, Touring and Touring XT -$21 to -$22. 2027 Ascent Limited Bronze Edition, Touring and Onyx Edition Touring -$20 to -$21. 2026 BRZ -$11 to -$21. 2026 Impreza -$13 to -$19.

Verdict: Requote these

If you were quoted one of these trims in September, ask for the October program: it is $11 to $23 a month cheaper on the same car. On the 2027 Trailseeker and Uncharted, also check that the advertised $1,500 of lease cash reached the cap cost.

2026 or 2027: It Depends on the Model

Six Subarus lease in both model years this month, and the answer differs by model. Comparing the same trim across both years:

Pre-tax, 36mo/12K miles, Northeast region, full MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for, nothing down. The Ascent Premium rows are the 7-passenger cars, and the 2026 Solterra Touring XT is the leather car. Data: Subaru Motors Finance, October 2026.

The 2027 Ascent is $34 to $44 cheaper than the 2026 on every trim. The 2026 BRZ is now $49 to $53 cheaper than the 2027 after its cut. The 2027 Crosstrek, which Subaru priced on July 9 at the same base MSRP as the 2026, leases for $32 to $49 more: its rate is about two to nearly three times the 2026's, and two to five extra residual points do not make up for it.

On the electric SUVs the two years are now close. The 2027 Solterra is $14 to $20 cheaper on the Limited, Limited XT and Touring XT and a dollar dearer on the Premium. The Trailseeker and Uncharted split within $16 either way.

Verdict: Pick the year by model

Take the 2027 Ascent and the 2026 BRZ and Crosstrek. On a Solterra above the Premium, take the 2027. On a Trailseeker or Uncharted, price both years on your exact trim.

Hybrid or Gas, Manual or Automatic

The Forester, 2026 Crosstrek, WRX and 2026 Ascent did not change this month. The Forester Touring Hybrid still leases for $2 more than the gas Touring, ~$582 against ~$580, because Subaru gives each Forester Hybrid a rate roughly a fifth to a quarter lower than the gas car of the same grade. Lower down that does not pay for the hybrid: the Premium Hybrid costs $14 more than the gas Premium, and the Sport and Limited Hybrids $32 and $31 more.

The Crosstrek Hybrids get no such help. The Sport Hybrid runs $45 over the gas Sport and the Limited Hybrid $30 over the gas Limited. The manual is the cheaper lease wherever you get a choice: $11 a month on the 2026 BRZ Limited, $10 on the 2027 and $18 on the WRX Limited.

Verdict: Forester Touring Hybrid, and the manuals

On a top-trim Forester, take the hybrid for about $2 a month. On a BRZ or WRX Limited, the manual saves $10 to $18 a month.

No Single Subaru Rate

Subaru does not run one rate across the lineup: from its lowest-rate trim to its highest, the rates span nearly six points of APR. Within a model they sit closer. The 2026 Crosstrek's seven trims sit within about one point of APR of each other, each Ascent model year within less than that, and the Forester within about two, with the gas Base lowest.

The 2026 Impreza shows how low a Subaru rate goes this month. Subaru's own October offer for the Impreza Sport, $249 a month for 36 months on a $27,790 MSRP, works out to a money factor of 0.00001: effectively a 0% lease.

Verdict: Check the rate against the trim, not the brand

Ask for the money factor in writing. On a Subaru the right number depends on the exact trim and powertrain, and on a 2026 Impreza it is next to nothing, so any real rate on an Impreza quote is markup. Paste your quote into QuoteDefender and it checks the rate against this month's Subaru program.

Terms: 39 and 42 Months Cost Less Than 36

The terms run 24, 36, 39, 42 and 48 months. On 62 of Subaru's 80 trims a 42-month lease costs less than 36, and where it does not, it costs $4 more at most; 39 months beats 36 on 63. Against 36 months, a 39-month lease gives up two to four residual points and a 42-month lease two to seven, and on most trims spreading the payments over the extra months more than makes up for it.

The 2027 electric SUVs are the exception after their cut: on nine of their eleven trims 36 months is now the cheapest term or tied for it. 24 and 48 months are the expensive ones everywhere. Both carry a higher rate than 36 on every trim, and 48 also gives up seven to eighteen residual points. A 48-month lease costs $18 to $213 more a month than 36, and a 24-month lease $96 to $468 more.

Pre-tax, 12K miles/year, Northeast region, full MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for at that term, nothing down. Lowest payment per trim in green. Data: Subaru Motors Finance, October 2026.

Verdict: Ask for 36, 39 and 42 months, skip 24 and 48

Ask for 36, 39 and 42 months side by side and take the lowest payment. The trade is the warranty: at 12,000 miles a year the last few months of a 39- or 42-month lease run past Subaru's 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty, though the 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty still covers you. A 24- or 48-month lease costs more than 36 on every Subaru this month.

Payment Math & Assumptions

All monthly payments in this post are pre-tax estimates based on a 36-month term, 12,000 miles per year, and the Northeast region program. Cap cost = MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for. No down payment, no dealer discount, no trade. Conditional money such as the military program is excluded because not everyone qualifies.

MSRP is Subaru's MSRP plus Destination & Delivery, which Subaru sets per model and per year: $1,195 on the WRX, Impreza and 2026 BRZ, $1,245 on the 2027 BRZ, $1,450 on the 2026 Crosstrek and the other 2026 models, $1,475 on the 2027 Crosstrek, Solterra and Uncharted, and $1,495 on the 2027 Trailseeker and Ascent. Subaru notes that the charge can differ in a handful of states, New Jersey among them. All 16 of Subaru's October lease offers for New Jersey run on the rates and residuals behind these payments, at the same MSRPs.

Tax, registration, title, acquisition and dealer doc fees are excluded and vary by state. Subaru also sets part of its program by region, so your own payment depends on your ZIP.
