Toyota left 200 of its 228 lease programs alone for October, and the 28 that moved all got cheaper. Toyota cut the rate on every 2026 Camry by about 8%, worth $12 to $15 a month, and on every Sienna by about as much, worth $19 to $25.
The 4Runner Hybrid Trailhunter and TRD Pro joined the rest of the 4Runner Hybrid on its special rate and are $48 and $49 a month cheaper, and the 2026 bZ Woodland gained lease cash. The 2026 Corolla LE at ~$321 is the cheapest Toyota lease, and a Tundra SR CrewMax at ~$500 leases for less than a Tacoma TRD Off-Road.

The Lineup, Cheapest First
The 2026 Corolla LE at ~$321 is the cheapest way into a new Toyota, and the Sequoia Capstone at ~$1,318 is the most expensive. Model groups run cheapest first, and trims run cheapest first inside each group; this is a selection of each model's key trims, not every sub-trim. This month's New Jersey program prices the 2026 Camry and Crown, not the 2027.
Toyota puts lease cash on its electric cars only, and advertises every dollar of it: $3,250 on the 2026 bZ, $2,750 on the 2026 bZ Woodland and $2,200 on the 2026 C-HR, through November 2. Everything else leases on its rate and residual alone.

*Pre-tax, 36mo/12K miles, New Jersey program. Cap cost = MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for, no down payment and no dealer discount. Cash is Toyota's TFS Lease Cash as toyota.com advertises it for New Jersey, October 1 to November 2. MSRP is Toyota's base MSRP plus its delivery, processing and handling fee. Data: Toyota Financial Services, October 2026.
Verdict: October Toyota
A quiet month that only moved in your favor. If you are shopping a Camry, a Sienna or a 4Runner Hybrid Trailhunter or TRD Pro, October beats a September quote. Everything else leases exactly as it did.
These tables are one configuration.
36 months, 12,000 miles, Northeast. Your term, mileage, and state move the payment. Get your exact number, free.
What These Payments Are
Every payment here is full MSRP, nothing down, pre-tax. No discount, no trade, no fees. That makes them a ceiling, not a target. They exist so you can measure a dealer quote against the program the lender actually published.
$1,000 off the selling price is about $28 to $31 a month at 36 months, depending on the trim's rate. Toyota's own October offers quote lower payments because they run 10,000 miles a year, most put $3,999 down at signing, and they assume a dealer contribution.
Three things move a real quote
A discount pulls the payment down at roughly $28 to $31 per $1,000. Money down pulls it down too, but you already paid that money, so it is not a saving. Tax and fees push it up, and how much depends on your state.
What Got Cheaper: Camry, Sienna and the 4Runner Hybrid
Toyota cut the 2026 Camry's rate by about 8%, and all eight trims are $12 to $15 a month cheaper: the LE is ~$417, the SE ~$451 and the XSE AWD ~$573. The Sienna got the same cut and is $19 to $25 cheaper on all 11 trims, from the LE FWD at ~$494 to the Platinum at ~$800.
The 4Runner Hybrid Trailhunter and TRD Pro came off Toyota's standard rate onto the special the rest of the 4Runner Hybrid line already had, more than an eighth lower. The TRD Pro is $49 cheaper at ~$807 and the Trailhunter $48 cheaper at ~$840. The 2026 bZ Woodland's lease cash rose to the $2,750 Toyota now advertises, $14 off at ~$654, and five plug-in hybrids moved by a dollar.
Verdict: Requote a Camry or Sienna
If a dealer quoted you a Camry or a Sienna in September, the program under that quote is cheaper now. Ask for it to be rewritten on October's rate.
The Value Picks
The Tundra leases on a special rate less than half Toyota's standard rate, and it changes the truck math. The 2026 Tundra SR 4x2 CrewMax is ~$500 a month, less than the Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4 Double Cab at ~$539 on almost the same sticker. Toyota's own New Jersey offer on the Tundra SR5 4x4 CrewMax works out to 3.38% APR.
On the Tacoma, the SR5 is cheaper than the SR. The SR5 4x2 Double Cab at ~$416 leases for less than the SR 4x2 XtraCab at ~$439 on a sticker $5,160 higher, because the SR5 carries a lower rate and holds six more residual points. The RAV4 holds its value: the LE AWD is only $8 more than the front-drive LE at ~$408.
The electric cars lease on a near-zero rate plus cash. Toyota's own offer on the 2026 bZ XLE FWD Plus works out to 0.02% APR, with $3,250 of lease cash. Even so, they keep so little of their value that the 2026 bZ XLE FWD is ~$498 and the C-HR SE ~$540.
Verdict: Price the bigger truck
If you are shopping a Tacoma TRD Off-Road, price a Tundra SR CrewMax too. On a Tacoma, ask for the SR5 before the SR. In the SUVs, the Corolla Cross L at ~$377 and the RAV4 LE at ~$408 are the cars to beat.
2026 or 2027: Mostly the 2026
Where Toyota leases both model years, the 2026 is usually cheaper. The 2027 Corolla, Corolla Hatchback and Corolla Hybrid cost $16 to $31 a month more, the 2027 bZ $29 more, the C-HR $41 and the bZ Woodland $43, both on less lease cash. The 2027 Prius Plug-in Hybrid is $94 to $110 more because the 2026 keeps its special rate.
Three exceptions favor the 2027. The 2027 Land Cruiser holds three more residual points and is $38 to $42 a month less than the 2026, the 2027 GR86 is $2 to $8 less, and the 2027 Prius XLE is $7 less than the 2026.
| Trim | 2026 | 2027 | 2027 costs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Corolla LE | ~$321 | ~$347 | +$26/mo |
| Corolla Hatchback SE | ~$338 | ~$363 | +$25/mo |
| Corolla Hybrid LE | ~$365 | ~$381 | +$16/mo |
| Prius LE | ~$413 | ~$423 | +$10/mo |
| Prius XLE | ~$478 | ~$471 | -$7/mo |
| Prius Plug-in Hybrid SE | ~$405 | ~$499 | +$94/mo |
| bZ XLE FWD | ~$498 | ~$527 | +$29/mo |
| C-HR SE | ~$540 | ~$581 | +$41/mo |
| bZ Woodland | ~$654 | ~$697 | +$43/mo |
| GR86 manual | ~$488 | ~$481 | -$7/mo |
| Land Cruiser 1958 | ~$715 | ~$677 | -$38/mo |
| Land Cruiser | ~$821 | ~$779 | -$42/mo |
Pre-tax, 36mo/12K miles, New Jersey program, full MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for, nothing down. Data: Toyota Financial Services, October 2026.
Verdict: Take the 2026, except the Land Cruiser
On a Corolla, bZ, C-HR or Prius Plug-in Hybrid, a 2026 still on the lot is the better lease. On a Land Cruiser or a GR86, the 2027 is.
The Markup Test
70 of Toyota's 228 trims lease at or a hair under its standard rate: the RAV4, Grand Highlander, Sequoia, Crown Signia, Corolla Hybrid and the GR cars among them. Toyota's own New Jersey offer on the RAV4 LE AWD works out to 7.18% APR.
The other 158 sit on specials that differ by model, from near zero on the bZ, bZ Woodland and C-HR to less than half the standard rate on the Tundra, and just under it on the Camry, Sienna and Highlander. Nothing in the program sits above the standard rate.
Verdict: Ask for the money factor in writing
Each Toyota has one rate for a well-qualified buyer this month, and a quote above it is dealer markup, not the program. Upload your quote to QuoteDefender and it checks the rate against this month's Toyota program.
Terms: 36 Months Is the Cheapest
Toyota's terms this month run 24 to 36 months, and 36 is the cheapest on every trim. A 24-month lease costs $22 to $250 a month more. The gap is smallest on the RAV4, which keeps its value best, and widest on the electric cars and the top Tundras.
| Trim | 24mo | 30mo | 36mo |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 Corolla LE | ~$375 | ~$343 | ~$321 |
| 2026 RAV4 LE | ~$433 | ~$414 | ~$408 |
| 2026 Camry LE | ~$471 | ~$434 | ~$417 |
| 2026 Tacoma SR5 4x2 Double Cab | ~$455 | ~$432 | ~$416 |
| 2026 Tundra SR5 4x4 CrewMax | ~$692 | ~$631 | ~$590 |
| 2026 bZ XLE FWD | ~$656 | ~$561 | ~$498 |
Pre-tax, 12K miles/year, New Jersey program, full MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for at that term, nothing down. Lowest payment per trim in green. Data: Toyota Financial Services, October 2026.
Verdict: Lease for 36 months
A shorter Toyota lease costs more every month. If you want out sooner, a RAV4 is where a 24-month lease costs the least extra.
Where These Numbers Apply
These payments are Toyota Financial Services' New Jersey program. In Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, Toyota leases are written by a different lender, Southeast Toyota Finance, on its own rates and residuals, so these numbers do not carry over there. toyota.com also lists a different delivery charge in those five states and in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.
Verdict: Check the lender on your quote
In the Southeast, the lessor on your contract will be Southeast Toyota Finance, not Toyota Financial Services. QuoteDefender reads your quote at your ZIP, so it checks it against the program your dealer actually uses.
Payment Math & Assumptions
All monthly payments in this post are pre-tax estimates based on a 36-month term, 12,000 miles per year, and Toyota's New Jersey program. Cap cost = MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for. No down payment, no dealer discount, no trade. Conditional money such as college graduate, military and lease loyalty offers is excluded because not everyone qualifies.
MSRP is Toyota's base MSRP plus its delivery, processing and handling fee: $1,295 on the cars, $1,595 on the SUVs and the Sienna, $1,745 on the Tacoma and $2,195 on the Tundra and Sequoia. All 27 of Toyota's New Jersey lease offers run on the same rate and residual as these payments.
Tax, registration, title, acquisition and dealer doc fees are excluded and vary by state, so your own payment depends on your ZIP.
