Genesis made every 2027 GV70 and GV80 cheaper for October, about $30 a month off all 14 trims. The other 52 trims that can be compared with September did not move.
The cut closes the gap between model years on the GV70: three 2027 GV70 trims now lease for $1 less than the 2026, and the 3.5T Sport Prestige for $85 less. Every 2027 GV80 still costs $15 to $24 more than the 2026. The 2027 G70 joins the lineup at ~$593, while the 2026 G70 2.5T RWD stays the cheapest Genesis at ~$544.

Verdict: October Genesis
If you are shopping a GV70, the 2027 is now as cheap as the 2026 on most trims and $85 cheaper on the 3.5T Sport Prestige. Everything else is September again, and the 2026 G80 at ~$720 with $10,750 behind it still leases for less than any GV80.

What These Payments Are
Every payment here is full MSRP, nothing down, pre-tax. No discount, no trade, no fees. That makes them a ceiling, not a target. They exist so you can measure a dealer quote against the program the lender actually published.
$1,000 off the selling price is about $28 to $31 a month at 36 months, depending on the trim's rate. Genesis's own offers show it: each one subtracts a "retailer contribution" from MSRP before the payment.
Three things move a real quote
A discount pulls the payment down at roughly $28 to $31 per $1,000. Money down pulls it down too, but you already paid that money, so it is not a saving. Tax and fees push it up, and how much depends on your state.
The 2027 GV70 and GV80 Got Cheaper
Genesis cut the rate on all eight 2027 GV80 trims and five of the six 2027 GV70s, and added a residual point or two on several. The sixth GV70, the 3.5T Prestige Graphite, gained two residual points against a slightly higher rate. Every one of the 14 leases for $29 to $31 a month less: the 2027 GV70 2.5T is ~$650 and the 2027 GV80 2.5T RWD ~$756.
On the GV70 that wipes out the 2026's lead. The 2027 2.5T Select, Advanced and Sport Prestige now lease for $1 less than the same 2026, and the 2027 3.5T Sport Prestige at ~$902 is $85 under the 2026 at ~$987. Only the base 2.5T is still cheaper as a 2026, by $18. The 2026 GV80 keeps its lead: every 2027 GV80 trim is still $15 to $24 dearer.
Verdict: GV70 and GV80
Take the 2027 GV70, except the base 2.5T, where the 2026 is still $18 cheaper. On the GV80 the 2026 is the better lease by $15 to $24 a month for as long as dealers have them.
The 2027 G70
The 2027 G70 leases from ~$593 for the 2.5T RWD, which Genesis advertises with $4,250 of lease cash, up to ~$743 for the 2.5T Prestige Graphite AWD. It is all 2.5T this year.
The 2.5T RWD and AWD carry the cash. The Sport Advanced, Sport Prestige and Prestige Graphite carry none and run on some of the lowest rates Genesis offers instead. Either way, the 2026 G70 2.5T is the cheaper car to lease: ~$544 for the RWD and ~$563 for the AWD, $49 and $69 a month under the 2027.
Verdict: G70
Lease a 2026 G70 while dealers have one: the 2.5T RWD at ~$544 is the cheapest Genesis lease. On a 2027, compare the cash trims with the low-rate Sport trims at the same selling price.
2026 or 2027: The 2026, Except on the GV70
The 2026 leases for less on 17 of the 21 trims Genesis sells in both model years, by $15 to $69 a month. The four exceptions are all 2027 GV70s, after this month's cut.

Verdict: Lease the 2026, except the GV70
On the G70, G80, GV80 and GV80 Coupe the 2026 is the cheaper lease while dealers have them. On the GV70 the 2027 now matches or beats it on every trim but the base 2.5T.
Big Cash or a Cheap Rate, Never Both
Genesis still runs two kinds of lease. All 29 trims with $3,500 or more of lease cash share one rate band less than a fifth of a point of APR wide, and every trim with a cheaper rate than that band carries $500 of cash or less. Most 2026 G80, GV80 and G70 trims are cash cars; most 2027s and the G90 are rate cars.
The $5,000 Retail Bonus Cash Genesis advertises on the G90 and GV60 comes with its standard rate, not the special. On a lease the special is the cheaper way, by $125 a month on the GV60 Advanced and $279 to $351 on the G90.
Verdict: Negotiating a Genesis
On a cash car, make sure the full lease cash is on the worksheet before you talk price. On a rate car, the money factor is where markup hides. A quote that has both big cash and a low rate on the same trim is not the Genesis program.
The Markup Test
On a cash car the test is simple: every Genesis with $3,500 or more of lease cash sits in that one narrow band, so its money factor should match the band whatever the model. On a rate car the rate is set trim by trim, and a lower rate is the whole value of the lease, so it is the number a dealer can most easily mark up.

Terms: 36 Months on Most, 24 on the Entry Trims
The terms below run 24, 33, 36 and 48 months, and 36 is the cheapest on 56 of Genesis's 73 trims. Across the lineup 24 months costs a median $41 a month more than 36 and 48 months $26 more.
The exceptions are worth knowing. On nine entry trims, including the 2026 G70 2.5T RWD and the base GV70 and GV80, 24 months is cheaper: the 2026 G70 2.5T RWD is ~$510 at 24 months, the cheapest Genesis lease at any term. On the 2026 GV80 Coupe, the GV60 Magma and two 2026 GV80s, 48 months is cheaper.

Verdict: Price three terms
Ask for 24, 36 and 48 months side by side. Thirty-six wins on most trims, but on an entry G70, GV70 or GV80 the 24-month lease can be the cheaper one.
