Mercedes-Benz raised its lease rates by about 5% for October on two groups of cars: the ones on its standard rate, like the AMG GT, the G 550 and AMG G 63, and the 2027 EQS and SL, and every 2027 CLE, E-Class, GLE, GLS and S-Class. 48 of 126 comparable trims cost $13 to $49 a month more.
Two cars went sharply the other way. The 2027 GLC 300 and 350e are $115 a month cheaper on a rate cut by more than 40%, and the 2027 CLA is $53 to $54 cheaper. The 2026 GLA, GLB, C 300 and AMG C 43 gained lease cash, $21 to $22 off. The other 63 trims held, and the 2026 GLA 250 at ~$625 is the cheapest Mercedes lease.

The Lineup, Cheapest First
The 2026 GLA 250 at ~$625 is the cheapest way into a new Mercedes-Benz at 36 months, and the 2026 Maybach S 680 at ~$4,787 is the most expensive of the trims shown. Model groups run cheapest first, and trims run cheapest first inside each group; this is a selection of each model's key trims, not every sub-trim. Mercedes has not published prices for the 2027 C-Class and several 2027 AMG and GLE models yet, so those are not priced here.
Every payment includes the lease cash every buyer qualifies for. Mercedes' own offers never state a lease cash amount, so there is no Cash column: the cash moves show up as payment changes.

*Pre-tax, 36mo/12K miles, New Jersey program. Cap cost = MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for, no down payment and no dealer discount. MSRP is Mercedes-Benz USA's MSRP plus destination. Data: Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, October 2026.
Verdict: October Mercedes-Benz
On a 2027 GLC 300 or 350e, a 2027 CLA, or a 2026 GLA, GLB or C 300, October beats a September quote. On a 2027 E-Class, CLE, GLE, GLS or S-Class, or anything on the standard rate, September was the better month. Whatever you lease, ask for 48 months.
These tables are one configuration.
36 months, 12,000 miles, Northeast. Your term, mileage, and state move the payment. Get your exact number, free.
What These Payments Are
Every payment here is full MSRP, nothing down, pre-tax. No discount, no trade, no fees. That makes them a ceiling, not a target. They exist so you can measure a dealer quote against the program the lender actually published.
$1,000 off the selling price is about $28 to $31 a month at 36 months, depending on the trim's rate. Mercedes' own October offers quote lower payments because they take a suggested dealer contribution off the price, put money down at signing and run 10,000 miles a year, and most of the 2026 offers run 24 months.
Three things move a real quote
A discount pulls the payment down at roughly $28 to $31 per $1,000. Money down pulls it down too, but you already paid that money, so it is not a saving. Tax and fees push it up, and how much depends on your state.
What Got Dearer: Two Rate Rises of About 5%
Mercedes raised its standard rate by about 5%, and the 23 trims on it cost $15 to $49 a month more: every 2026 AMG GT, every G-Class but the 2026 G 580, the 2027 EQS sedan and SUV, the 2027 EQE SUV, the 2027 SL 43 and SL 55 and the 2026 Maybach SL 680. Mercedes' own offer on the 2027 EQS 450+ works out to 7.56% APR.
It also raised the special rate most 2027 models share, by about the same, and 25 trims cost $13 to $46 more: every 2027 CLE, E-Class and GLE, the 2027 GLS 450, the 2027 S-Class and Maybach S, and the 2027 AMG GLC 53 and GLC 300 Coupe. The 2027 E 350 is ~$1,094.
Verdict: The 2026 is the cheaper lease
The 2026 E-Class, CLE, GLE, GLS and S-Class did not move, and they already leased for less than the 2027s. If a dealer has the 2026 you want, it is the better lease this month.
What Got Cheaper: 2027 GLC, 2027 CLA and the Entry Cars
The 2027 GLC 300, GLC 300 4MATIC and GLC 350e are $115 a month cheaper. Mercedes cut their rate by more than 40% and they hold a point or two more residual. The 2027 GLC 300 is now ~$745, less than the 2026 at ~$777. Mercedes' own 2027 GLC 300 offer works out to 3.29% APR.
The 2027 CLA got rate cuts of a third to nearly a half and is $53 to $54 cheaper: the CLA 220 is ~$693 and the electric CLA 250+ ~$720. The 2026 GLA, GLB, C 300 and AMG C 43 gained lease cash, $21 to $22 a month off; the C 300 is ~$735 and the GLA 250 ~$625.
Verdict: The value picks
The 2027 GLC 300 at ~$745 is the deal of the month in the compact SUVs, and the 2027 CLA 250+ at ~$720 the cheapest electric Mercedes. Under $650, the 2026 GLA 250 and GLB 250 lead.
2026 or 2027: The 2026, Except the GLC 300 and CLA
On most models sold in both years, the 2026 leases for less, by $28 to $605 a month: the 2026 E 350 is $87 less than the 2027, the S 500 $160 less, the EQS 450+ $303 less. The 2027 wins on the GLC 300, the CLA and the AMG G 63, where the 2027 carries a lower rate or a higher residual.
| Trim | 2026 | 2027 | 2027 costs |
|---|---|---|---|
| CLA 250+ (electric) | ~$811 | ~$720 | -$91/mo |
| CLA 350 4MATIC (electric) | ~$866 | ~$780 | -$86/mo |
| GLC 300 | ~$777 | ~$745 | -$32/mo |
| GLC 300 4MATIC | ~$797 | ~$777 | -$20/mo |
| CLE 300 4MATIC Coupe | ~$972 | ~$1,024 | +$52/mo |
| GLE 350 4MATIC | ~$1,019 | ~$1,076 | +$57/mo |
| E 350 | ~$1,007 | ~$1,094 | +$87/mo |
| EQE 320+ SUV | ~$1,175 | ~$1,285 | +$110/mo |
| S 500 4MATIC | ~$1,829 | ~$1,989 | +$160/mo |
| GLS 450 4MATIC | ~$1,402 | ~$1,567 | +$165/mo |
| EQS 450+ | ~$1,640 | ~$1,943 | +$303/mo |
| AMG SL 43 | ~$1,676 | ~$2,053 | +$377/mo |
Pre-tax, 36mo/12K miles, New Jersey program, full MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for, nothing down. Data: Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, October 2026.
Verdict: Check the model year on the quote
Ask for a GLC 300 or CLA as a 2027, and for an E-Class, CLE, GLE, GLS, S-Class, EQS or SL as a 2026. On the big cars the gap is hundreds of dollars a month.
The Markup Test
48 of Mercedes' 126 priced trims sit on one of two shared rates: the standard rate (23 trims) and the special most 2027 models share (25 trims), which Mercedes' own 2027 E 350 offer works out to 6.07% APR. The other 78 carry their own specials, from close to zero on the 2026 S 580e and Maybach EQS 680 SUV to just under the standard rate on the 2026 AMG GLE 63 S Coupe. Nothing in the program sits above the standard rate.
Verdict: Ask for the money factor in writing
Each Mercedes has one rate for a well-qualified buyer this month, and a quote above it is dealer markup, not the program. Upload your quote to QuoteDefender and it checks the rate against this month's Mercedes-Benz program.
Lease for 48 Months
Mercedes' terms this month run 24, 30, 36, 42 and 48 months, with 13 months on the 2026 S-Class. 48 months is the cheapest on 105 of the 126 trims and 42 on 20 more; only the GLA 250 4MATIC is cheapest at 24. On every trim, 48 months costs less than 36, by $11 to $804 a month.

Pre-tax, 12K miles/year, New Jersey program, full MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for at that term, nothing down. Lowest payment per trim in green. Data: Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, October 2026.
Verdict: Ask for 48, then 42
Have the dealer quote 36, 42 and 48 months side by side. On a Mercedes the longer term is almost always the lower payment, and on the large and electric models by hundreds of dollars a month. Check that 48 months at your mileage fits Mercedes' 4-year, 50,000-mile warranty.
Payment Math & Assumptions
All monthly payments in this post are pre-tax estimates based on a 36-month term, 12,000 miles per year, and the New Jersey program. Cap cost = MSRP minus the lease cash every buyer qualifies for. No down payment, no dealer discount, no trade. Conditional money such as loyalty, conquest, college graduate and military offers is excluded because not everyone qualifies.
MSRP is Mercedes-Benz USA's MSRP plus destination: $1,350 on the 2026 models and $1,450 or $1,550 on the 2027s. All 98 of Mercedes' current lease offers for these cars state the same MSRP and run on the same rate and residual as these payments.
Tax, registration, title, acquisition and dealer doc fees are excluded and vary by state, so your own payment depends on your ZIP.
